The Human Whale 2025
Join the Port Stephens community at Fingal Bay Beach as we come together and form the outline of a 100m Humpback Whale on the shores of Fingal Bay to pay homage to the annual whale migration where over 40,000 whales pass our coast line.
Interact with our many stall holders such as NSW National Parks, ORRCA, OCCI & Sea Shelter as well as Face Painting and a Sausage Sizzle hosted by Fingal Bay Surf Life Saving Club

Join Moonshadow TQC, Imagine Cruises & Aquamarine Adventures as we celebrate the start of the 2025 Whale Watching season here in Port Stephens. This event is supported by Port Stephens Council, d’Albora Marina & Destination Port Stephens.

NSW State Titles Marathon Outrigger Canoe Championships
Outrigger canoeing is an important part of the culture of many Pacific Island nations incorporating important traditions.
There are more than 4000 registered outrigger paddlers in Australia and the sport is practiced in more than 50 other countries.
This exciting event will be held over 2 days based at Shoal Bay with all races finishing at the jetty opposite the Shoal Bay Country Club Hotel.
Races will take the outriggers out into the bay, along the coastline and to the outer islands. Tomaree Summit will be a great place to view the spectacle of canoes.
Visit Port Stephens to witness this exhilarating weekend of paddling.
